About Bridge and Tunnel
Creating Space for Young Artists to Grow
At Bridge and Tunnel Artist Development, we believe you don’t have to live in a major market to pursue your dreams as a performing artist. We’re here for the singers, dancers, and actors who want a place to train, explore, and discover their unique voice—right where they are.
Founded by Arin Anderson, a multidisciplinary creative with over 15 years of experience in musical theatre, vocal performance, industry communications, training, and educational program development, Bridge and Tunnel is built on the idea that artistry thrives when curiosity, creativity, and community come together. Arin has worked with regional theaters, youth ensembles, arts organizations, and individual young artists across the country, designing processes that nurture both artistry and confidence.
What We Do
Bridge and Tunnel offers training for artists ages 10–26, meeting them at every stage of their journey. Our programs focus on human-centered training—seeing each artist as an individual with a unique story to tell. Through curiosity-driven exploration and discovery, we help young performers grow into well-rounded, resilient artists.
Whether you’re just starting out or chasing your next big role, our programs are designed to help you grow:
Triple-Threat Training: Acting, singing, and dancing, integrated for today’s performer.
Audition & Performance Prep: From technique to confidence, we help you shine when it matters most.
Portfolio & Resume Development: Industry-ready tools to launch your next step.
Workshops & Classes: In-person and virtual, for flexible learning that fits your life.
Artist Development Studio: Audition-based, advanced training for serious performers ready to take their craft to the next level.
Support for Parents
We know the journey isn’t just for young artists—it’s for their families, too. The arts and entertainment industry can feel overwhelming, with so many options and unknowns. That’s why we also partner with parents, offering guidance on everything from navigating auditions and casting calls to understanding industry standards and supporting your child’s unique path.
Through workshops, resources, and one-on-one conversations, we help families feel confident, informed, and empowered. Just as we encourage our artists to lead with curiosity and discovery, we equip parents with tools and insights to walk alongside their child with clarity and confidence.
Why “Bridge and Tunnel”?
Traditionally, the phrase “bridge and tunnel” was used to describe people traveling into the city for opportunities. We’ve reimagined it to mean something new: you don’t have to be in the city to access high-quality arts training. Bridge and Tunnel is about creating pathways—helping young artists take the leap from where they are to where they dream of being
Our Promise
At Bridge and Tunnel, equity, diversity, inclusion, and antiracism are core to who we are. Our approach is grounded in empathy, lifelong learning, and intentional action. We continually ask: Whose stories are being centered? Who has access to resources and opportunities? How do historical and current systems shape representation, participation, and power in the arts?
We honor diverse voices, promote transparency, and foster belonging and trust. Creating safe, affirming spaces means actively challenging bias, celebrating a wide range of perspectives, and ensuring that every young artist, from LGBTQ+ communities to students with disabilities, from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and beyond, feels valued and supported. Safety also means freedom in personal expression, where students have the space to explore who they are, share their creativity authentically, and grow with confidence.
Equity is woven into every part of our program, including communication, decision-making, structures, and training. This is not a box to check but a long-term, collaborative process that requires consistency, accountability, and care.
At the heart of our work is a belief that every young person deserves a place to explore, create, and grow as their full self. True inclusion begins with listening, openness, and embracing the dignity of every individual’s story. We are dedicated to building spaces that reflect and celebrate the full diversity of the young artists and communities we serve so that every person feels safe, affirmed, and inspired to bring their whole self to the work.
We are more than a training studio. We are a community, a launchpad, and a safe creative home where every artist is encouraged to take risks, stay curious, push boundaries, and embrace the power of their voice.
